A bit of history
Canal Company is a typical Amsterdam company. It started off as Canal Bike hiring out Canal Bikes on the Amsterdam canals. In 1991 boats were added to the fleet. On 1 July 2005 Canal Company also took over Holland International Canal Cruises. Today Canal Company numbers some 240 staff members (some part-time). Over the last 22 years Canal Company has expanded into one of the market leaders in tourism and entertainment in Amsterdam.
